Celebrate Recovery Podcast- Newcomer Focused

October 8th, 2007 by johnnybaker

Hello everyone,

We’re back after a week off with a brand new podcast.  This week, Johnny, Tina and Bob talk about the need to keep our General Meeting Nights focused on the Newcomer. Not only do they talk about why, but they also give some practical ideas about how we can make that happen.

For more ideas, make sure to visit the Assimilation Coaches blog and click here to read this post about seeing your ministry through the eyes of the newcomer.

Thanks for listening, and don’t forget to give us a rating in the iTunes store.  Plus, click on the “Tell a Friend” link in iTunes to tell more people about the Celebrate Recovery podcast!

Thanks for the information. It’s really helpful and we’re trying to start a Newscomers 101. I especially thought the comments about “removing excuses” was insightful. It’s easy to forget how fragile that first step is. People don’t need to fight the barriers of not finding the large group room, feeling overlooked, or having attention called to them for being new. Thanks again.
